What you need

You don't need to prepare anything. We've included five characters and all the clues you need to get started.

How to Play

  1. Explain the game. Tell the kids you'll read three clues about someone in the Bible. Their job is to figure out who it is.

  2. Read the clues. Start with the first clue and let the kids guess. If nobody gets it, read the next clue. Keep going until someone guesses correctly or you've read all three clues.

  3. Talk about the answer. Once the kids guess the character, ask the question under The Bigger Picture. Give the kids a chance to answer before moving on.

  4. Play the remaining rounds. Continue through the five Bible characters below. Everyone can keep guessing, even if they get an answer wrong.

For younger kids

Read all three clues before asking kids to guess. This gives them more information to work with.

For older kids

Let kids guess after each clue. See who can recognize the Bible character using fewer clues.

Create your own rounds

Choose a Bible character from a story your class has studied. Write three clues, starting with a less obvious detail and ending with an easy one. Add a question and answer about the character for The Bigger Picture.
